TRACBARGENTINE 2009
Everything is ready to share with you the memorable pioneering of South
American spaces...
The start is on 30th October and will last until 22 November of this year.
- We dreamt of it.. and you?
- exploring lively Buenos Aires with its speedy traffic and elegant tango sounds
- driving through the horizon-to-horizon plain fertile Pampas between odd authentic estancias-ranches with local gauchos
- living a touch of Atlantic of around 100km beach-drive
- disappearing far into North Patagonian steppes "mesetas" and into more and more abandoned spaces
- catching the first breath of Southern Andes and the mythic Ruta 40 "La Cuarenta"
- exploring the scenic winding Seven Lakes Route with its immense glacial waters, thick forests, jagged peaks and extinct volcanoes down to Bariloche...
- passing the cordillera and changing the monotonous steppes look into the one - dramatic and immense green - mountainous spaces with different deep-green vibrations.. remote and lost in wilderness... the Lord of the Ring is somewhere close..
- hitting the famous Carretera Austral - the "Southern Highway"-track :) - the main and only one road in Patagonian Chile.
- living colorful scenic drives through the contrast Patagonian landscapes with turquoise lakes, llamas, nandús (rheas), flamingos, sheep, horses, saltlakes, moonscapes, canyons and endless sky... and wild-wild-wild...
- coming back to the legendary Ruta 40 and to its most interesting and real remote part (still track:) through abandoned vast spaces of Chubut and Santa Cruz provinces..
- arriving in civilization in El Calafate - a little bit touristic, but a must! The enormous Glacier Perito Moreno, one of the world's most famous... no words anymore needed..
- leaving Argentina for a while to face the magnificent Towers of Torres del Paine, to touch the cold waters of Pacific in Puerto Natales and to live the strongest winds of the Straight of Magellan... This is a real South Patagonia..
- and here you are - arriving in Tierra del Fuego - Ushuaia, Canal Beagle, sea lions.. Do you want to be the first traction reaching the symbolical
End of the World?
