2 CV Bedouin |

While on holiday in September 1998, I spotted this 2 CV based Bedouin in a service station on the German Belgian border near Malmédy. I spoke briefly with the owner, a Brit called Angus Clowes whose card describes him as a linguist and globetrotter. He told me the car is for sale and he may be contacted on 44 1483 208244. The Bedouin was made in small numbers in Britain by Bob Williams of Special Vehicle Conversion and resembles the FAF . I believe Bob Williams was concerned with the Africar Project . The body panels are resin-coated plywood and the roof could be removed leaving a Mehari style open topped "Jeep". |
