Citroën to launch a retro-styled C3-based 2CV?

According to Auto Express, in 2009, Citroën will launch a new variant of the C3.These are the pictures that appeared in the edition dated 2nd May 2007.

Bearing more than a passing resemblance to the World Automotive Design Competition Evoqué styling concept of 2005, I am assured by Citroën that this car will not be built.
