CITROËN C6

REVEALED AT THE GENEVA SALON ON 10TH FEBRUARY 2005 IS THE NEW TOP OF THE RANGE C6, THE LONG AWAITED REPLACEMENT FOR THE XM

This user-friendly approach to comfort is expressed by the presentation of the spacious cabin, in which the various functions are clearly laid out.
The front end houses a symmetrical dashboard laid out around a central half-moon console.
The clean, sculpted design of the dashboard consists of straight, parallel lines, symbolising precision, and curved lines, symbolising dynamics. The styling is both fluid and simple.
The upper section features a multifunction screen, which is almost a natural extension of the console.
In front of the driver, a discreet digital instrument cluster is positioned in such a way as to avoid reflections that could make the information difficult to read.
In addition to the information provided on the central console – for example, relating to the audio system, air conditioning, navigation and other functions etc – a head-up display projects essential driving data onto the windscreen. The cruise control/speed limiter controls are mounted on the steering wheel. The electric seat controls, located on the doors, are easy to use, since their layout reflects that of the seat.
An electric parking brake frees up space in the central console, which offers a number of stowage compartments.
