Interestingly, comparing this brochure with the French brochure shows some discrepancies - whereas the French 1.6i accelerates to 100 kph (62) mph in 14.0 seconds, the UK version take 0.2 seconds longer.  Similarly the French 1.8i 16V manages it in 10.6 while the UK one takes 10.9 and the French HDi manages it in 12.9 as opposed to the UK version which takes 13.1 seconds.
There are similar differences in the 0-1000m dash - 1.6i (FR) 35.4 (GB) 35.5; 1.8i16V (FR) 32.1 (GB) 32.4; 2.0HDi (FR) 34.6 (GB) 34.8 although the 0-400m times are identical.  Maximum speeds and fuel consumption figures are also identical.

Citroën Xsara Picasso goes on sale in the UK in June 2000.
