The Tony Stokoe CX Photothèque

Citroën CX 25 Prestige Série 2

This car was first registered in 1988 but was manufactured in 1986 as one of a batch of ten "export specification" Prestiges for the Australian market. These ten cars, with consecutive chassis numbers, were gradually sold over two years in the UK.

Features include:

Dual air conditioning

an extra air conditioning unit with pump in the boot boosts the system making the usually mediocre CX ventilation system super cool!

Pollen filter

a fabric mesh and fibre screen in the main inlet vent to filter incoming air

High capacity alternator

to cope with the extra demands of the air conditioning

No vinyl roof

normally standard on Prestige models. The extremes of the Australian climate would be less than suited to a black plastic roof

No side repeater indicators

to comply with Australian regulations?

Tony is the second owner of this car, having acquired her in January 1997 with a recorded mileage of 36 000. She is completely original with no new paint or trim.
