The
new Jumpy’s high-quality cabin takes its inspiration
directly from
passenger car design. It still offers all the
functions needed for
business purposes, making it a reliable,
high-performance working
vehicle.
An interior space dedicated to on-board comfort Depending
on
the version, the Jumpy has an extensive window surface
area, with an
optimized inclined windscreen and large side windows.
This
configuration offers a broad field of vision and lets
plenty of light
into the cabin, enhancing on-board comfort.
The driving position of the new Jumpy is a living area
that users will feel at home in.
Enhanced features for more functionality The
design of the dashboard sets the highest standards in
driving pleasure for drivers of the new Jumpy.
Special attention was paid to the positioning of
stowage areas and
functions on the Jumpy’s compact, coordinated
dashboard in the vans and
passenger vehicles. The driver is within easy reach of
stowage
compartments cleverly located on the dash, the roof
and the doors.
These are:
- a large lockable glovebox, with a light, that can be
refrigerated,
- an open stowage area under the steering column for
maps and documents,
- a large open stowage area on top of the dashboard,
- an overhead stowage compartment big enough for
A4-sized documents (which can be closed with flaps or
not),
- fold-down cup holders on the front of the dashboard.
Other equipment helps create an ergonomic, comfortable
environment. The
main examples are the height- and depth-adjustable
steering column and
a 12V connector in the centre of the dashboard,
ideally placed to hook
up a mobile phone or laptop computer.
Facing the driver, the new Jumpy’s electronic
instrument cluster
provides full, easy-to-read information. The driver
can access the data
he/she needs quickly: mileage, fuel consumption,
average speed and
headlamp level. Warning lights make sure users of the
new Jumpy are
alerted well before a problem could occur. These
include a seatbelt
warning and battery charge indicator.
