The external dimensions of a large people-carrier

Measuring 4.72 m in length, the C8 is 27 cm longer than the Evasion/Synergie. The overhang at front and rear is increased by 13 cm and 14 cm respectively. These larger dimensions bring benefits in styling, safety and interior space.
The C8 is 1 .85 m wide (increase of 2 cm) and 1 .75 m tall (increase of 4 cm), making it one of the largest people-carriers on the market with a promise of generous interior space.
The visual appeal and contemporary edge displayed by the exterior, fit perfectly with the innovative, high-tech styling of the interior.

Original, high-tech interior styling with unusual interior design schemes

A bright dashboard reflecting the quintessence of people-carrier design.
The innovative and distinctive styling of the dashboard expresses contemporary values and a sense of well-being. With its taut, pure lines, shared information, and suggestion of interior space, it reflects the quintessence of people-carrier design. The original architecture comprises an arch and a central instrument cluster.

An instrument cluster that breaks with conventional design codes.
The instrument cluster is organised around three spheres placed in the centre of the dashboard with a display unit immediately underneath (a large 7-inch 16/9 colour screen can be fitted here). These instruments display information on vehicle speed, engine speed, fuel level and a range of other data.
The three-sphere display unit uses innovative technology based on needle dials. The ground glass covering the dials comprises silk-screened figures and graduations. The entire surface of the sea green instrument cluster lights up at night to create a shadow-play effect that makes the figures easy to read.
A control unit, adjustable for height and reach, like the steering wheel, contains information on signalling, distance travelled, maintenance and oil level and, in the case of models equipped with an automatic gearbox, shows the gear engaged.
A liquid-crystal screen on the central console offers a fast display of all information relating to the four-area air-conditioning system with automatic temperature control.

Innovative seat styling

The seats of the C8 reflect the original design of the dashboard while also focusing on comfort and ergonomy. The taut, geometric lines bring out the relief and presence of the seats. The use of the foam-in-place process, in which the foam is deposited on the back of the fabric and moulded with the surface, reinforces the sculpting of the seat and marks out the styling lines.

A choice of original interior design schemes

The C8 brings customers a choice of three specific interior design schemes. Each one uses different materials and colours to give the passenger compartment a completely different look.

  • Contemporary, bright and cheerful, the Detente scheme is based on a specific mesh fabric with a raised trim on the seats and dashboard and white beech-type interior mouldings on the dashboard and door panels.

  • Imposing, calm and peaceful, the Cocon scheme uses velour and mahogany-type mouldings.

  • Luxurious, airy and opulent, the VIP scheme is the top-end offering with Alcantara and mouldings of silver satin.
