The Xsara will join the Citroën range between the best selling Saxo and the larger Xantia. Xsara is a bigger car than its predecessor, the ZX, and at 4.17 m as opposed to 3.72 m for the Saxo, there is a gap which will be plugged by Projet T-2, a re-bodied Peugeot 206. |

Jean Marie Walch, Managing Director of Citroën UK said, `With its flowing good looks, Xsara will appeal to a wide cross section of motorists, including private and business users, each demanding style, refinement, practicality and comfort in a secure and safe vehicle.' |
