Citroën will bring the C4 Sedan to market in several European countries from the last quarter of 2007. This vehicle expands the existing C4 range, made up of a 5-door hatchback and a coupé. The sedan, based on the C4 platform, features a longer wheelbase to maximise space at the rear, along with a large and roomy boot.

A vehicle of sophisticated styling, the C4 Sedan maintains the many qualities of the C4 in terms of equipment, driving pleasure and safety. It reflects Citroën’s objective of bringing its customers vehicles designed for a more relaxed drive.
The C4 Sedan features an ergonomic driver’s position designed to share information with its fixed-centred controls steering wheel and main driving parameters displayed in the centre of the dashboard.
It is also an exceptionally roomy vehicle (2.71 m wheelbase) whose user-friendly design provides each passenger with individual space.
With its impeccable road manners and well matched engines (1.6i 16V petrol engine and HDi 110 DPFS diesel), the C4 Sedan delivers real driving pleasure.
Onboard comfort is further enhanced by a wide range of driving aids (including cruise control and a speed limiter as standard, and Xenon dual-function directional headlamps) along with generous safety equipment.
The C4 Sedan is produced in Argentina, where it went on sale in April 2007. The Palomar plant, located near Buenos Aires, supplies South American markets. This model will be available in Spain from the last quarter of 2007.

A vehicle of sophisticated styling and exceptional interior space

The C4 Sedan combines the design cues of the C4 range with the larger volumes of a sedan that is 4.77 m long and 1.77 m wide. It is a car of real personality and presence with its exclusive and stylish design. Features include class-beating interior space for all passengers and a boot whose remarkable capacity makes this vehicle a benchmark in its category.
·      Unique styling, expressing elegance, character and status
The styling of the C4 Sedan clearly identifies it as a vehicle of status.
The front end states its membership of the Citroën family. The wide chevron badge in the centre of the radiator grille is extended by angled chrome strips running  up to the boomerang shaped headlamps on the wings.
Viewed from the side, the flowing body lines hint at the bright, comfortable interior space available to passengers. The shape and size of the windscreen and the elongated bow-shaped side window enhance the elegant and stylish looks of the C4 Sedan. The high waistline suggests robust strength, while the chrome strip running the length of the profile accentuates its remarkable visual balance.
The rear end of the C4 Sedan underlines its on-road stance and reinforces the impression of stability. The imposing rear overhang gives the car a protective, reassuring appearance. The boomerang shaped rear lights echo the design of the headlamps. A chrome strip running between the lights underlines the capacity of the vast boot.
·      Standard-setting interior space
The C4 Sedan is a vehicle of generous dimensions (4.77 m long, 1.77 m wide and 1.51 m tall) with class-beating interior space. With its exceptional wheelbase, it inherits a feature that has long played a key role in the success of Citroën’s large saloons. The 2.71 m wheelbase provides space and comfort for all passengers, along with outstanding legroom for those travelling in the rear. The C4 Sedan also features class-beating elbow room, with 1.42 m in both rows.
·      A roomy boot
The spacious interior of the C4 Sedan has no impact on the size of the boot, which is also a  class-beater with its 513 litres VDA. A large tailgate provides fast access to the boot, while the 1.04 m between the wheel arches makes it easy to load bulky objects.
The vehicle has a load length of up to 1.21 m and 50 cm under the parcel shelf. It also features a 60/40 split-fold rear seat as standard.
